Letter from the President 2009

It is an exciting new year at Southwest Imaging Council and I am thrilled to be 2009's president. Patty and I will be attending the annual TSRT meeting in San Antonio to represent SWIC and will bring back a report on the events, topics, and ideas. SWIC officers have discussed some changes in our scholarship applications and are looking forward to helping some imaging students out. We have a variety of topics planned for our upcoming seminars this year and would love to hear from our membership of any ideas that sound interesting. This year, everyone who joins SWIC receives a T-shirt (until supplies run out). We'd love some pictures of our members in those shirts. If you have any, please send them to us to post here on this site.

Southwest Imaging Council provides seminars approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists otherwise known as the ASRT. SWIC serves Ft Bend County and the South-west Houston Area including: Alvin, Katy, Missouri City, Richmond, Rosenberg, Stafford, and Sugar Land. Whether your modality in the Medical Field is X-Ray, CT, MRI, Mammo, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, or Ultrasound Sonography does not matter. South West Imaging Counsel provides Direct Category-A Continuing Education Credits or Direct Category A Continuing Education Units also known as CE's CEC's and CEU's at every seminar. SWIC is not affilated with ARRT or TSRT or JRCERT Schools.
